Hi All, I'm trying to stream a mp3 file, using rtsp streaming from my LAN and mplayer crashes. Please find the bug report and my system info files attached with this email. I'm using mplayer-checkout-2009-09-01. I'm using Helix DNA Server to stream the mp3 file. I've tried with VLC media player and the streaming works. Steps to recreate the problem in linux: 1) Download mplayer - http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/mplayer-checkout-snapshot.tar.bz2 2) unpack and do ./configure and make 3) Download the latest Helix DNA Server from https://helixcommunity.org/projects/helix-server/files/download/2046 and install it 4) copy some sample mp3 files to 'Content' folder in helix Server installation directory. 5) run the Helix server server from Bin folder $"sudo ./hlxserver ../hlxserver.cfg " - use the default config file (hlxserver.cfg) - run as sudo if you get any error like "E: could not listen on <::>:<554>" - Change port 80 to 8080 in hlxserver.cfg file if you get error like "E: could not listen on <::>:<80>" 6) run mplayer ./mplayer rtsp://your_hlx_server_ip:554/sample.mp3 Hope the bug will be fixed soon :) Thanks, San
