All other HD programs use PAFF, you need -mc 2 (and -delay 0.3, use "+" and "-"to adjust) to play them.
Please do not use -vo x11, it will lead to additional performance problems,either use vdpau (if you have a NVIDIA card and the binary drivers installed) orxv or gl:yuv=2. You need development drivers (libxv-dev) to let configureauto-detect them.
