I will not be able to help you since we are using different repositories.
You could try --disable-live, Carl Eugen

It works perfectly Nico! I don't care if it's shitty, as long as
it works, for me it's fine.
Any chance it can be merged in svn? Thank you!
Wow, and again I say Wow and Thank you for your patch. I have verified
trueHD over HDMI using the following:
mplayer-svn -ao alsa:device=hw=0.3 -ausid 0x72 -aid 4352 -channels 6
00120.m2ts
This plays trueHD tracks so I can finally watch my blurays without
transcoding them. However, I still only get 2 channel audio from the
blurays. Playing a non trueHD movie with
mplayer-svn -ao alsa:device=hw=0.3 -channels 6 -ac hwdts,hwac3, <file>
Will give my 6 channel audio, and I get the DTS light with DTS based
tracks, but with trueHD, I just get 2 channel audio, and no trueHD light
on my receiver.
Any idea how to pass the trueHD through to the stereo?
Here is the output from mplayer
MPlayer SVN-r29438-4.4.1 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team
