When reading the manpage, I am not sure about anything that lists a default. Take the following entry (from xvidencopts), *max_bframes=<0-4>* Maximum number of B-frames to put between I/P-frames (default: 2). Does "(default: 2)" mean that it's already activated? If this is the case, I can safely say that by "default" xvid uses bframes? thanks!
