I'm playing MP2 recorded (HD HomeRun) OTA. A minute-or-so into the playback, audo breaks up and mplayer says: Too many video packets in the buffer: (1211 in 33595148 bytes). Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed? For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option. % mplayer -mc 0 -autosync 30 -ao alsa -vo x11 1520_for_5.mp2 MPlayer SVN-r29251-4.3.2 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team Full log is attached. System is running Intel Core 2 at 3GHz, with 2G of DDR2-800. -mc 0 -autosync 30 is intended to reduce the time that audio leads video. It's made it tolerable, but not perfect. I'd appreciate suggestions.
