But with repeating the 1/25 or whatever of a second of sound belongs to that picture. That would be the closest approach to what video editors would expect. You're right, the video shouldn't jump when unpausing (haven't checked that myself), but if you don't like playing sound frame-by-frame just turn your volume down and don't try to make it up like noone would need frame-by-frame sound. What do you think a clapperboard is for? And having found out its purpose, how do you think it is used in film editing without hearing sound along with every single frame?
