Hi folks, Using mplayer I can run mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=0.1, ... to get sound exclusively via hdmi (i.e. s/pdif). The desktop speakers remain silent. gmplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=0.1, ... works differently. I always get the desktop speakers in parallel to the tv:-(. Did I miss something here? The man page doesn't list any incompatibilities between mplayer and gmplayer. Would it be possible to fix this? Many thanx Harri
