Hi dear all. I have an M-audio 24/96 sound(ICE1712 chipset) card on my machine. I just compiled MPlayer SVN-r28737-4.1.2 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team However, i found that when I was trying to open any media file by gmplayer, I got constantly error message [AO_ALSA] Unable to find simple control 'PCM',0. on my screen. But mplayer was working pretty well. I do not know what I should use as alsa_mixer_channel, I tried PCM Out, Front, balbalaba. but none of them worked.... I know this is a typical problem and most of the suggestions I found through google is to choose oss or pulse instead. But I perfer alsa:( So is there anybody who met similar problem and know how to solve it?
