mplayer-users, I own a pcHDTV HD-5500 DTV capture card. It seems that support for this card was broken a while ago. I recently updated from mplayer-1.0_rc2_p28058-r1.ebuild to mplayer-1.0_rc2_p28288.ebuild. With the former ebuild, everything works as expected and I get nice DTV video.
