at the current moment, if I play a dvd with
mplayer dvd://1 -alang en -slang en -forcedsubsonly
I do not get subtitles, until I toggle to the next subtitle with the 'j'key.
Őtvős Attila suggested earlier that making d_sub->id = -2 a conditionalby adding a
if (dvdsub_id < 0)

(command.c, line 1499) beforehand.
This helps, I get the subtitles now without any problem, but the- -forcedsubsonly flag is not observed, I'll have either start without- -forcedsubsonly and press Shift+F once, or leave the -forcedsubsonly inthe commandline and press Shuft+F twice.
Where in the code do the forcedsubs come into play? How can one fix this?
