You can see the different streams if you run mplayer -v
This will show every available stream with it's bitrate and id.

Selecting the audio stream is done via -aid and selecting the video stream is 
done via -vid. Both except the stream id (which appears when you run mplayer 
with the -v option).

However, this is only good for manully selecting the highest quallity stream.
I'm looking for a way to automate it so I won't have to specify the exact 
stream id.
