I haveet up a DVB-T reciever in Norway recieving the special HE-AAC/H264 formatsed by us and New-Zeeland. However i can't get any sound, even with mplayer-svn compiled withhe internal faad. Mplayer does not workt all unless i use the lavf demuxer. It tries to use libmadnd fails with "Cannot sync MAD frame", and then" Cannot find codec for audio format 0x50". Forcing faad/faac does not help either. Iried to play some of the samples used to fix the problem earlier and they worked properly. I haveooked in the zap-file and the pids were set correcly. The picture works well. I haveploaded a short clip at http://2.likbilen.com/upl/nonworkingrikstvclip.tso test with, and would be happy ifnybody who knows ts and how the audio stream is embedded could look at it. -- Frederik.J. Message-ID: <943815.6624.qm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Hi, I'mrying to determine whether mplayer can play back video files at arbitrary locations on a blank screen (i.e. fullscreen mode) (on Mac OS X right now but I also would like to do this on Windows). I've tried options like -x 100 -y 100 -fs -geometry:100x100+10+10 -fs buto far have only managed to scale the video horizontally OR vertically, not at the same time, and have not managed to place it in an arbitrary location on screen. Is it possibleo do this with mplayer on Mac OS X and windows? I know that I can move the window around, and resize it, when using the GUI app, so I figure it must be possible. Apologies forhe potentially dumb question, I have read at least some of the man page! Any tips on how to achieve this would be appreciated. Thanks Rua HM. Used methodhould be same for all computer i i use ranging fro 300 MHz to 3 GHz, both desktopnd laptops with PC architecture. Only common thing withhe computer is the use of integrated display adapters. There is no demand for high-resolution graphics, 640x480 isdequate. I havesed so far svgalib and frame buffer but are there other alternatives i canook for. I'motally blind myself and thus not very familiar with PC graphics. -- mr.01510 & guide Loadstone-GPS
