Hello Everyone I am desperately in need of help and I hope you might be able to help me find a way to record from a usb device that only seems to work with mplayer (ffmpeg and mencoder hang). I use the following command to record video mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video1:fps=25 -vo yuv4mpeg:file=test.mpeg but The file is massive and I cannot find a way to record the audio. The audio is a plugged straight into the sound card. Does anybody know a way to record sound and video preferably straight into dvd quality output. Thanks In advance. Im in a pretty desperate state.
