The patch titled Subject: memory_hotplug: clear zone when removing the memory has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was memory_hotplug-clear-zone-when-removing-the-memory.patch This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree ------------------------------------------------------ From: Yasuaki Ishimatsu <isimatu.yasuaki@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: memory_hotplug: clear zone when removing the memory When memory is added, we update zone's and pgdat's start_pfn and spanned_pages in __add_zone(). So we should revert them when the memory is removed. The patch adds a new function __remove_zone() to do this.
