The patch titled
     Subject: drivers/message/i2o/i2o_proc.c: the pointer returned from chtostr() points to an array which is no longer valid
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     drivers-message-i2o-i2o_procc-the-pointer-returned-from-chtostr-points-to-an-array-which-is-no-longer-valid.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

...  when being used in the calling function.  Although it may work, the
behavior is undefined.  Detected by cppcheck.
