The patch titled Subject: netvm: propagate page->pfmemalloc to skb has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is netvm-propagate-page-pfmemalloc-to-skb.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/SubmitChecklist when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Mel Gorman <mgorman@xxxxxxx> Subject: netvm: propagate page->pfmemalloc to skb The skb->pfmemalloc flag gets set to true iff during the slab allocation of data in __alloc_skb that the the PFMEMALLOC reserves were used. If the packet is fragmented, it is possible that pages will be allocated from the PFMEMALLOC reserve without propagating this information to the skb. This patch propagates page->pfmemalloc from pages allocated for fragments to the skb. Signed-off-by: Mel Gorman <mgorman@xxxxxxx> Acked-by: David S.
