The patch titled led-class.c: quiet boot messages has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was led-classc-quiet-boot-messages.patch This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree The current -mm tree may be found at http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/mmotm/ ------------------------------------------------------ Subject: led-class.c: quiet boot messages From: H Hartley Sweeten <hartleys@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> As each led device gets registered a kernel message gets printed. In an embedded system with a number of leds this can produce a lot of output that just looks like noise. Change the message type to KERN_DEBUG since it might be useful in the dmesg output "after" booting.
