The patch titled dma-mapping: mark dma_sync_single and dma_sync_sg as deprecated has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was dma-mapping-mark-dma_sync_single-and-dma_sync_sg-as-deprecated.patch This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree The current -mm tree may be found at http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/mmotm/ ------------------------------------------------------ Subject: dma-mapping: mark dma_sync_single and dma_sync_sg as deprecated From: FUJITA Tomonori <fujita.tomonori@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> dma_sync_single() and dma_sync_sg() have been described as "Backwards compat, remove in 2.7.x" for a long time (since 2.6.5). This marks dma_sync_single() and dma_sync_sg() as deprecated so the users get notified before removing them.
