The patch titled um: remove obsolete hw_interrupt_type has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is um-remove-obsolete-hw_interrupt_type.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/SubmitChecklist when testing your code *** See http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/stuff/added-to-mm.txt to find out what to do about this The current -mm tree may be found at http://userweb.kernel.org/~akpm/mmotm/ ------------------------------------------------------ Subject: um: remove obsolete hw_interrupt_type From: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> The defines and typedefs (hw_interrupt_type, no_irq_type, irq_desc_t) have been kept around for migration reasons. After more than two years it's time to remove them finally. This patch cleans up one of the remaining users. When all such patches hit mainline we can remove the defines and typedefs finally. Impact: cleanup Convert the last remaining users to struct irq_chip and remove the define.
