The patch titled
     inotify: fix GFP_KERNEL related deadlock
has been added to the -mm tree.  Its filename is
     inotify-fix-gfp_kernel-related-deadlock.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:

inotify_handle_get_wd() does idr_pre_get() which does a
kmem_cache_alloc() without __GFP_FS - and is hence deadlockable under
extreme MM pressure.
