The patch titled
ext3: add support for non-native signed/unsigned htree hash algorithms
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
     ext3-add-support-for-non-native-signed-unsigned-htree-hash-algorithms.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
   a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
   b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
   c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's

Subject: ext3: add support for non-native signed/unsigned htree hash algorithms
From: "Theodore Ts'o" <tytso@xxxxxxx>

The original ext3 hash algorithms assumed that variables of type char were
signed, as God and K&R intended. Unfortunately, this assumption is not
true on some architectures. Userspace support for marking filesystems
with non-native signed/unsigned chars was added two years ago, but the
kernel-side support was never added (until now).
