The patch titled
     ACPI: remove the now unused ifdef code
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     acpi-remove-the-useless-ifdef-code.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

The conversion of x86-64 to clock events makes the
 #ifdef CONFIG_GENERIC_CLOCKEVENTS
 n the timer broadcast functions useless. Remove it.
