The patch titled

has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
macintosh-therm_windtunnelc-convert-to-kthread-api.patch
This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

Start the g4fand using kthread_run not a combination of kernel_thread and
deamonize. This makes the code a little simpler and more maintainable.
