The patch titled
     ecryptfs: lower root result must be adirectory
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     ecryptfs-lower-root-result-must-be-adirectory.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

- Currently after path_lookup succeed we dot't have any guarantie what
  it is DIR. This must be explicitly demanded.
- path_lookup can't return negative dentry, So inode check is useless.
