The quilt patch titled
     Subject: checkpatch: do not require an empty line before error injection
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     checkpatch-do-not-require-an-empty-line-before-error-injection.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into the mm-nonmm-stable branch
of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm

ALLOW_ERROR_INJECTION macro (just like EXPORT_SYMBOL) can immediately
follow a function it annotates.
