The quilt patch titled Subject: mm: replace mmap with vma write lock assertions when operating on a vma has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was mm-replace-mmap-with-vma-write-lock-assertions-when-operating-on-a-vma.patch This patch was dropped because it was merged into the mm-stable branch of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm ------------------------------------------------------ From: Suren Baghdasaryan <surenb@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: mm: replace mmap with vma write lock assertions when operating on a vma Date: Fri, 4 Aug 2023 08:27:21 -0700 Vma write lock assertion always includes mmap write lock assertion and additional vma lock checks when per-VMA locks are enabled. Replace weaker mmap_assert_write_locked() assertions with stronger vma_assert_write_locked() ones when we are operating on a vma which is expected to be locked.
