The patch titled Subject: watchdog/sparc64: define HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64 has been added to the -mm mm-nonmm-unstable branch. Its filename is watchdog-sparc64-define-hardlockup_detector_sparc64.patch This patch will shortly appear at https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/25-new.git/tree/patches/watchdog-sparc64-define-hardlockup_detector_sparc64.patch This patch will later appear in the mm-nonmm-unstable branch at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next via the mm-everything branch at git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm and is updated there every 2-3 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Petr Mladek <pmladek@xxxxxxxx> Subject: watchdog/sparc64: define HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64 Date: Fri, 16 Jun 2023 17:06:17 +0200 The HAVE_ prefix means that the code could be enabled. Add another variable for HAVE_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64 without this prefix. It will be set when it should be built. It will make it compatible with the other hardlockup detectors. Before, it is far from obvious that the SPARC64 variant is actually used: $> make ARCH=sparc64 defconfig $> grep HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR .config CONFIG_HAVE_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_BUDDY=y CONFIG_HAVE_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64=y After, it is more clear: $> make ARCH=sparc64 defconfig $> grep HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR .config CONFIG_HAVE_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_BUDDY=y CONFIG_HAVE_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64=y CONFIG_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR_SPARC64=y Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/20230616150618.6073-6-pmladek@xxxxxxxx Signed-off-by: Petr Mladek <pmladek@xxxxxxxx> Reviewed-by: Douglas Anderson <dianders@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: Christophe Leroy <christophe.leroy@xxxxxxxxxx> Cc: "David S.
