The patch titled

has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
units-add-the-hz-macros.patch
This patch should soon appear at
https://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/units-add-the-hz-macros.patch
and later at

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:

Subject: units: add the HZ macros
The macros for the unit conversion for frequency are duplicated in
different places.
Provide these macros in the 'units' header, so they can be reused.
