The patch titled Subject: hugetlbfs: remove useless BUG_ON(!inode) in hugetlbfs_setattr() has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was hugetlbfs-remove-useless-bug_oninode-in-hugetlbfs_setattr.patch This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree ------------------------------------------------------ From: Miaohe Lin <linmiaohe@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: hugetlbfs: remove useless BUG_ON(!inode) in hugetlbfs_setattr() When we reach here with inode = NULL, we should have crashed as inode has already been dereferenced via hstate_inode.
