The patch titled Subject: s390/mm: define arch_get_mappable_range() has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is s390-mm-define-arch_get_mappable_range.patch This patch should soon appear at https://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/s390-mm-define-arch_get_mappable_range.patch and later at https://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/s390-mm-define-arch_get_mappable_range.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Anshuman Khandual <anshuman.khandual@xxxxxxx> Subject: s390/mm: define arch_get_mappable_range() This overrides arch_get_mappabble_range() on s390 platform which will be used with recently added generic framework. It modifies the existing range check in vmem_add_mapping() using arch_get_mappable_range(). It also adds a VM_BUG_ON() check that would ensure that mhp_range_allowed() has already been called on the hotplug path.
