The patch titled
     Subject: mm/memory: remove page fault assumption of compound page size
has been added to the -mm tree.  Its filename is
     mm-memory-remove-page-fault-assumption-of-compound-page-size.patch

This patch should soon appear at

and later at

A compound page in the page cache will not necessarily be of PMD size,
so check explicitly.
