The patch titled Subject: powerpc: add an ioremap_phb helper has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is powerpc-add-an-ioremap_phb-helper.patch This patch should soon appear at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/powerpc-add-an-ioremap_phb-helper.patch and later at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/powerpc-add-an-ioremap_phb-helper.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Christoph Hellwig <hch@xxxxxx> Subject: powerpc: add an ioremap_phb helper Factor code shared between pci_64 and electra_cf into a ioremap_pbh helper that follows the normal ioremap semantics, and returns a useful __iomem pointer. Note that it opencodes __ioremap_at as we know from the callers the slab is available. Switch pci_64 to also store the result as __iomem pointer, and unmap the result using iounmap instead of force casting and using vmalloc APIs.
