The patch titled Subject: mm/hmm: add ARCH_HAS_HMM_MIRROR ARCH_HAS_HMM_DEVICE Kconfig has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is mm-hmm-add-arch_has_hmm_mirror-arch_has_hmm_device-kconfig.patch This patch should soon appear at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/mm-hmm-add-arch_has_hmm_mirror-arch_has_hmm_device-kconfig.patch and later at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/mm-hmm-add-arch_has_hmm_mirror-arch_has_hmm_device-kconfig.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Jérôme Glisse <jglisse@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: mm/hmm: add ARCH_HAS_HMM_MIRROR ARCH_HAS_HMM_DEVICE Kconfig Add 2 new Kconfig variables that are not used by anyone. I check that various make ARCH=somearch allmodconfig do work and do not complain. This new Kconfig needs to be added first so that device drivers that depend on HMM can be updated. Once drivers are updated then I can update the HMM Kconfig to depend on this new Kconfig in a followup patch.
