The patch titled
Subject: mm, compaction: remove unnecessary zone parameter in some instances
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
     mm-compaction-remove-unnecessary-zone-parameter-in-some-instances.patch

This patch should soon appear at

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
   a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
   b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
   c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a
reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's

From: Mel Gorman <mgorman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Subject: mm, compaction: remove unnecessary zone parameter in some instances

A zone parameter is passed into a number of top-level compaction functions
despite the fact that it's already in compact_control. This is harmless
but it did need an audit to check if zone actually ever changes
meaningfully. This patches removes the parameter in a number of top-level
functions. The change could be much deeper but this was enough to briefly
clarify the flow.

No functional change.
