The patch titled Subject: drivers/hwtracing/intel_th/msu.c: change return type to vm_fault_t has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is hwtracing-intel_th-change-return-type-to-vm_fault_t.patch This patch should soon appear at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/hwtracing-intel_th-change-return-type-to-vm_fault_t.patch and later at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/hwtracing-intel_th-change-return-type-to-vm_fault_t.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/process/submit-checklist.rst when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Souptick Joarder <jrdr.linux@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: drivers/hwtracing/intel_th/msu.c: change return type to vm_fault_t Use new return type vm_fault_t for fault handler. For now, this is just documenting that the function returns a VM_FAULT value rather than an errno. Once all instances are converted, vm_fault_t will become a distinct type. See 1c8f422059ae ("mm: change return type to vm_fault_t") for reference.
