[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The patch titled
Subject: mm, fs: reduce fault, page_mkwrite, and pfn_mkwrite to take only vmf
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
     mm-fs-reduce-fault-page_mkwrite-and-pfn_mkwrite-to-take-only-vmf.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

------------------------------------------------------
From: Dave Jiang <dave.jiang@xxxxxxxxx>
Subject: mm, fs: reduce fault, page_mkwrite, and pfn_mkwrite to take only vmf

->fault(), ->page_mkwrite(), and ->pfn_mkwrite() calls do not need to take
a vma and vmf parameter when the vma already resides in vmf. Remove the
vma parameter to simplify things.
