The patch titled Subject: pcnet32: use pci_set_dma_mask insted of pci_dma_supported has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is pcnet32-use-pci_set_dma_mask-insted-of-pci_dma_supported.patch This patch should soon appear at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/pcnet32-use-pci_set_dma_mask-insted-of-pci_dma_supported.patch and later at http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/pcnet32-use-pci_set_dma_mask-insted-of-pci_dma_supported.patch Before you just go and hit "reply", please: a) Consider who else should be cc'ed b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a reply-to-all to that, adding suitable additional cc's *** Remember to use Documentation/SubmitChecklist when testing your code *** The -mm tree is included into linux-next and is updated there every 3-4 working days ------------------------------------------------------ From: Christoph Hellwig <hch@xxxxxx> Subject: pcnet32: use pci_set_dma_mask insted of pci_dma_supported All drivers should be using dma_set_mask / pci_set_dma_mask to try to set the dma mask instead of just querying it. Without that some iommu implementations may not work. pci_dma_supported is removed entirely, but dma_supported stays for dma_ops implementations for now. This patch (of 15): This ensures the dma mask that is supported by the driver is recorded in the device structure. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@xxxxxx> Cc: "David S.
