The patch titled
     Subject: checkpatch: use a more consistent function argument style
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     checkpatch-use-a-more-consistent-function-argument-style.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

Subject: checkpatch: use a more consistent function argument style

Instead of array indexing $_, use temporary variables like all the other
subroutines in the script use.
