The patch titled devices.txt: remove pktcdvd entry has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename is devices-txt-remove-pktcdvd-entry.patch This patch was probably dropped from -mm because it has now been merged into a subsystem tree or into Linus's tree, or because it was folded into its parent patch in the -mm tree. From: Peter Osterlund <petero2@xxxxxxxxx> Changing the driver to use dynamic device numbers was one of the many changes that were made in order to have the driver accepted into the mainline kernel. Therefore I would say that the entry in devices.txt is obsolete. This patch removes it.
