The patch titled

     final-rio-polish-fix

has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename is

     final-rio-polish-fix.patch

This patch was probably dropped from -mm because
it has now been merged into a subsystem tree or
into Linus's tree, or because it was folded into
its parent patch in the -mm tree.

It's a bit hard to fix this nicely without assuming that these things are
implemented as `unsigned char'. Use `typeof'. I wodner if it works?

Also fix up some 80-column ghastlies.
