The patch titled
Fix platform_device_add to use device_add
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename is
fix-platform_device_add-to-use-device_add.patch
This patch was probably dropped from -mm because
it has now been merged into a subsystem tree or
into Linus's tree, or because it was folded into
its parent patch in the -mm tree.

platform_device_add() should be using device_add() rather than
device_register() - any platform device passed to platform_device_add()
should have already been initialised, either by platform_device_alloc() or
platform_device_register().
