The patch titled tipar oops fix has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename is tpar-oops-fix.patch This patch was probably dropped from -mm because it has now been merged into a subsystem tree or into Linus's tree, or because it was folded into its parent patch in the -mm tree. From: Daniel Drake <dsd@xxxxxxxxxx> If compiled into the kernel, parport_register_driver() is called before the parport driver has been initalised. This means that it is expected that tp_count is 0 after the parport_register_driver() call() - tipar's attach function will not be called until later during bootup.
