Recently, I downloaded linux-2.4.18.tar.gz, patch-2.4.19.bz2, patch-2.4.20.bz2 from www.kernel.org, used cross-compiler mipsel-linux-gcc, mips-linux-ld on Redhat 7.3 PC envoronment, and got quite a few errors from compiling and ld.
