No.  TEXTCLIPFUNC serves a different purpose.

The quickest solution is to define the value when invoke mhonarc
on the command-line.  For example:

  mhonarc -definevar DIR-BASENAME=aisha ...

And then use $DIR-BASENAME$ in your resource file.
