Debian is an organization that advocates Open Source software and also
provides a Linux distribution.  Their primary objective is to provide a
free operating system.  Their distribution only contains Open Source
software, while other distributions, like RedHat, may contain non-OS
software.  Debian Linux has their own package management, different
from RPM that RedHat developed.
