Check out Harri Hakulinen's blog which contains some mention about it, I think it was the source for the news spread around the news sites: http://meego.com/community/blogs/harrihakulinen/2010/meego-calling-n900 I guess PR1.3 kernel will support kexec and then we can use bootmenu to run MeeGo from our SD card similar to NITDroid installation - yeah, maybe we can have tri-boot maemo/meego/nitdroid :) :) :) > I just hope that they also finally "fix" Nokia-Maps enabling > turn-by-turn navigation... all other Symbian smartphones have it by now > just the "flagship" of next-generation smartphones does not... pretty > disappointing. I seriously doubt it. And N900 as "flagship" is a title given it by us, not by Nokia. I would say flagship was N97 and now N8. Some blog even said recently that the first MeeGo-Harmattan device won't have turn-by-turn navigation in Maps, either. Of course Nokia won't officially tell anyone anything about future plans with their closed software (Except that MeeGo-Harmattan won't officially be supported on N900...) so all we can do is guess and wait and hope. _______________________________________________ maemo-users mailing list maemo-users@xxxxxxxxx https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-users
