Any way to run GPRS and wlan simultaneously?

I'd like to use wlan interface to masquerade GPRS connection on local wifi
network.

By default, it seems only one of GPRS and wifi can be active at a time.

Is there any way to keep both of them active simultaneously?
I couldn't find ifup scripts for gprs0 or wlan0.

(I was able to get usb networking work simultaneously with gprs. However
wifi will be preferable.)
