Hey Joerg,

Thumbs Up.Really very good advise to download rootsh file from Application Manager & it worked without any problems like what i faced before in " X Terminal by entering sudo gainroot it shows " Enable RD mode if you want to break your device "

I can now check the prepaid credit & data package usage by using USSD Pad which is great to use for me every day.

Anyways the only extra thing i want is to use this USSD widget on my desktop again it shows Error suppose to come as per image.Ussd widget img.jpg

I got this eg. from the link http://lovemynokia.com/how-to-check-credit-and-other-details-in-nokia-n900-with-a-touch-of-a-widget

Please let me know if i have to follow some settings.

Thanks again.

Well, the msg mentioned by OP is some kind of very ill humor of some Nokia
developer or pkg manager. Its meaning actually is "Please install rootsh, or
'sudo gainroot' and 'root' both will fail"

cheers
