Hi, Peter.

Yes alarm must work even if it is powered off. It was so before this upgrade. Also help of "edit  alarm" window says the same behaviour. When the alarm time reaches, it switches on n800 automatically.

I use my N800 to wake me up, but it's always on.
I wouldn't expect it to work if it is really powered off.
