And, again, Python has a large number of reusable libraries on top of which these apps are written; but this is a topic more for maemo-developers. HTH, AndrewPython shipped with N800 doesn't has xmlrpc but I do wonder if I can implement REST parsers on the N900./usr/lib/python2.5/xmlrpclib.py exists on my N900, and any existing Python library can be trivially reused. For example, when building Hermes I've re-used from elsewhere:

Cool, love it, I would love to see if Skype4Py can resurrect "SMS via Skype" since I really use this feature for world wide SMS messaging.
Your favourite XML-RPC/SOAP/WebServices library should be easy to use. pymaemo-developers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx might also be an appropriate place to discuss in more detail.
